Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Catalina studied International Relations at Universidad de los Andes and, at the age of 18, moved to Australia to complete a degree in Media and a Masters degree in Public Relations from University of Sydney.
After moving to Miami, Catalina embarked on her real estate career working in marketing and PR for luxury residential developers. In 2004 Catalina co-founded the Catena Group along with Ena Espino and quickly positioned it as one of South Florida’s leading Real Estate sales groups.
By leveraging her creative spark and a matrix of international business relationships, it was apparent Catalina would become a driving force among the top players in Miami development sales. Since that time, she has amassed over $2.5 billion in sales volume and a distinguished project portfolio including Una Residences, Missoni Baia, Icon Brickell, One Ocean, Marea, SLS Lux, Paraiso Bay, Hyde Midtown, among others.
Alongside real estate, Catalina liaises with Latin American family office funds, institutional capital, architects, interior designers and real estate developers. In her free time she is passionate about art and promoting local artists to HNW international collectors.
